Wedding Photographer Woes Fail To Wane

Photographer Accused Of Leaving Couples Shuttering

Two weeks ago we showed you a wedding photographer who didn't deliver. Now 40 more couples have turned up, saying there is a hole in their hearts where their wedding pictures should be. CBS 2 Investigative reporter David Goldstein has the story.

"We don't want to sue you. We just want our pictures."

Karri Lucas got married more than a year ago and still doesn't have all her wedding photos.

"I'm mad as hell, I really am."

Mary Saxon got "some" of hers and said they're not worth the thousands of dollars she paid.

"My pictures are crap. They're awful."

All of these newlyweds turned out to complain after we exposed Alan Brent photography.

"We were sitting down home on Valentine's Day when we saw the story and I said you'll never believe -- that's Alan."

Alan is Alan Brent Carruth.

He claims 30 years experience, "Photographer of the Year. "

Two weeks ago he met with our producer posing as a bride to be after we heard from newlyweds, who claim he hasn't delivered on many albums.

"Are you stealing memories?"

"I wouldn't trust my daughters wedding to an ****hole like you."

At the time Carruth promised to contact everyone at the meeting. He did and has delivered some pictures.

"We did receive our CD with our engagement pictures on it, finally after almost two years."

But now more couples have now come forward.

"The email list has doubled in size."

There are now more than 80 newlyweds. Some complain about missing pictures.

"I can't recreate it… He's got all my memories."

Poor quality.

"They're, like, just glued to the paper."

And albums that had other couples photos.

"I was looking at them and it just dawned on me--when my pictures came --theirs came too. So we opened it up and had no idea who they were--so i just realized it was them so i have some of their engagement pictures"

So Karina and Paul Nieves unexpectedly have a few more of their pictures -- but not all. …And neither do Estella and Javier Ahuero, whom were married last August.

"He sat in my parents living room telling us he would take care of us. That's what we paid for -- his 35 years of experience -- and he would take care of us."

We invited Carruth to meet with this new group of newlyweds, but he didn't return our calls. We also heard from couples, who say he's coming through with some albums, but they complain about poor quality and missing pictures.
