Water Polo Coach Allegedly Had Sex With Girl, 16
CORONA, Calif. (CBS) ―
A volunteer water polo coach at Santiago High School in Corona has been arrested on suspicion of sexually molesting a 15-year-old female student.
Jason Bills, 21, was arrested Tuesday night at a dorm at the California Baptist University in Riverside, where he is a student, sheriff's Sgt. Patrick Chavez said.
Bills, who had stopped coaching at the high school, is accused of molesting the 15-year-old victim at his home in the 23100 block of Canyon Pines Place in unincorporated Corona, Chavez said.
Investigators were notified about a possible crime involving the coach and a student on Tuesday, Chavez said. Bills was later arrested and booked at Southwest Detention Center in lieu of $75,000 bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned Friday.
Bills was listed on his university's 2008 water polo team roster. According to the university Web site, he was majoring in business sports management and had plans to coach, teach or become a sports writer.
