Armed Robbers Target L.A. WaMu Branch

LOS ANGELES Gunmen robbed Tuesday robbed a Washington Mutual bank branch in the Fairfax district, authorities said.

The crime at Beverly Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue was reported at 10:40 a.m., according to Los Angeles police Officer Sara Faden.

No one was injured in the hold-up.

Authorities were conducting an investigation.
