Crews Put Out Blaze At Apartment Complex In Venice

VENICE, Calif. (CBS) ― An ocean-front apartment building caught fire Wednesday on the Venice Peninsula.

The blaze was reported shortly before 10 a.m. on the second-floor of the complex on South Ocean Front Walk.

Firefighters were able to knock it down at about 10:12 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

No injuries were immediately reported.

The building has two stories above a parking structure.
