Band Member Stabbed To Death During Fight At Party

Steven Valadez, 18, was stabbed while trying to help a fellow band member during a fight in Valinda.

A young musician was stabbed to death after a fight broke out at a house party in Valinda after midnight Sunday.
Police said the fight was reported on Maplegrove Avenue, west of Valinda Avenue, in the unincorporated area of Valinda.
According to Tony, who is a band member, the group was having a small get-together when his neighbors picked a fight.
Officers said Steven Valadez was stabbed to death when he tried to help a fellow band member.
Valadez, 18, played bass for the band, "Rumor Has It."
Police said no one has been arrested.
The brawl also left six other teens hurt; some were stabbed and others had bruises.
