A 17-year-old boy shot during what some claim was a game of Russian roulette is hospitalized Saturday and not expected to live.
The shooting in the 15700 block of Fairgrove Avenue occurred about 9 p.m. Friday, Deputy Byron Ward of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau said.
The boy, whose name was withheld, was listed as "death imminent" at the hosptial, Ward said.
A woman who lives in the neighborhood told RMG News that the victim, a 17-year-old who goes to school with her daughter, was playing Russian roulette when he was shot.
Sheriff's deputies offered no explanation of how the shooting occurred.
