A man was in custody Friday for allegedly abducting two developmentally disabled 16-year-old twin girls who were found at his southwest Los Angeles home, authorities said.
Alejandro Mora, 23, was booked for child abduction, rape and "oral copulation with a person under 18," Lt. Rich Erickson of the Malibu/Lost Hills Station said. Mora was being held on $380,000 bail, Erickson said.
The twins, who live in Malibu, were found about 7:30 p.m. Thursday night at 1115 West 37th Place, where Mora was arrested, Erickson said. They had last been seen on Sunday.
Following a medical examination and interview by authorities, the girls were returned to their family, Erickson said.
The girls apparently ran away from home, Erickson said.
