Los Angeles is launching another crackdown on gridlock.
Towing crews will patrol Crenshaw Boulevard at rush hour and ticket and remove any vehicles that illegally block traffic.
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is announcing the crackdown. The towing crews will work along a three-mile stretch of the congested boulevard. The city has used similar crews to round up errant cars on Ventura and Wilshire boulevards.
The city says illegally parked vehicles are a major source of congestion and getting ride of them will speed commutes.
