SUV Strikes, Critically Injures Jogger In Temecula

TEMECULA A jogger was critically injured Saturday when he was hit by an SUV in Temecula, a police lieutenant said.

Theodore Angle, 51, of Temecula, was jogging west on Redhawk Parkway toward Via Cordoba about 9:30 a.m. when he crossed the eastbound lanes and was struck by a 2000 Lexus RX300, Riverside police Lt. Jeff Kubel said.

Angle was hospitalized in critical condition, Kubel said.

The driver who hit Angle, 68-year-old Hauquiang Huang of Temecula, was not cited.

Anyone who witnessed the accident was asked to call police at (951) 696-3000.
