2 Men Injured At Backyard Party Shooting In Sylmar
SYLMAR, Calif.
Someone who opened fire at a backyard party in Sylmar, wounding two men early Saturday, was at large, police said.
The shooting in the 13900 block of Graber Avenue occurred just before 1 a.m., said Los Angeles police Sgt. Paul McLaughlin of the Mission Station.
An argument broke out among crowd of more than 100, and gunshots rang out moments later, he said. Two Latinos in their early 20s, whose names were withheld, were shot, he said.
No hospital conditions were available, but police said both men had stable vital signs at Olive View Medical Center, McLaughlin said.
The sergeant said witnesses were not cooperating with police.
