5 Clinics In L.A. County To Offer H1N1 Vaccines

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― Los Angeles County public health workers planned to give free swine flu vaccines to high-risk individuals at five locations Sunday.

The following clinics were scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.:

-- Harvard Recreation Center, 1535 W. 62nd St.;
-- Lincoln Park Recreation Center, 3501 Valley Boulevard;
-- MacArthur Park, 2230 W. Sixth St.;
-- Wilmington Recreation Center, 325 N. Neptune Ave.;
-- Richie Valens Recreation Center in Pacoima, 10736 Laurel Canyon Blvd.

Children, pregnant women and adults with serious underlying medical problems were the highest priorities for public health officials.

Those planning to go to clinics were urged to review the vaccination form, found in several languages on the County of Los Angeles, Department of Public Health Web site. Those in a priority group should bring in a completed form.

A list of future clinic locations and hours was available on L.A. County's Health Department Web site or by calling the County's 211 information line.
