'Stuff A Truck' For People, Pets
LOS ANGELES (CBS) ―
Ring in the holidays a little early by participating in the annual People & Pets
Stuff a Truck food drive on Friday, Nov. 20 and Saturday, Nov. 21.
Southern California's CBS Radio stations will be stuffing a truck with food for the L.A. Regional Food Bank and collecting pet food for the City of L.A. Department of Animal Services.
Its not just people suffering in a tough economy – local animal shelters are overwhelmed with pets that families have had to give up because they couldn't afford to feed them.
The
food drive will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Smart & Final, 11211 W. Pico Blvd., in Los Angeles on both days.
