Armed Robber Hits Up Beverlywood Starbucks

BEVERLYWOOD An armed man robbed a Starbucks in Beverlywood Tuesday morning, authorities said.

The man entered the coffee shop on National Boulevard near Provon Lane shortly before 6 a.m., according to an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department's West L.A. station. He forced the employees into the back of the shop and fled with an unspecified amount of cash.

No one was hurt in the incident.
