Dog Stabbed 19 Times In Need Of New Home

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (CBS) ― A small dog stabbed more than a dozen times is recovering and now looking forward to her new home.

Simone, a beagle mix, was found by workers cleaning up graffiti in Rancho Cucamonga. The small, brown dog underwent surgery after being stabbed 19 times in her neck and torso.

Simone's caretaker says the pooch is surprisingly sweet and well-mannered, despite her ordeal.
