3 Women Shot Near Compton

COMPTON, Calif. Authorities say two women were in critical condition and a third had moderate wounds after a shooting erupted inside a home in an unincorporated area near Compton Wednesday night.

The shooting happened in the 15000 block of South Visalia Avenue, between Alondra and Redondo Beach boulevards at 8:14 p.m., Los Angeles County Fire Capt. Mike Brown said.

No further details were available, Brown said.
