Man Shot To Death In West L.A.

LOS ANGELES A man was shot and killed Tuesday night in the West Los Angeles area, authorities said Wednesday.

The shooting was reported about 10:35 p.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of South Garth Avenue, according to Los Angeles police Officer Kate Lopez of the Media Relations office.

The name of the man, who died at the scene, was withheld pending notification of his relatives.

There were no arrests.

Anyone with information about the shooting was urged to call police.
