Shooting Death Reported In Compton

COMPTON Homicide detectives are investigating the Saturday shooting death of a man in Compton.

The unidentified victim was found in the 400 block of South Cliveden Ave., said Deputy Rick Pedroza.

The shooting occured just after 9:45 Friday evening.

The victim, a male, was declared dead at the scene, according to Pedroza.

His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

No arrests were announced.
