1 Killed In Car-To-Car Shooting On 101 Freeway

The passengers of a compact car and another vehicle were involved in a verbal dispute while driving along a surface street in Hollywood.

One of the men hit in a car-to-car shooting on the Hollywood (101) Freeway following an argument was killed, police said.
Bunthan Roeung, 26, was sitting in the rear seat when gunshots erupted from another car that had followed it onto the freeway from Hollywood Boulevard. Roeung was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. A second passenger was grazed by a bullet, but will survive his injury, LAPD Officer Michael Gutilla said.

The suspect's car argued with the victim's car while they drove along a surface street in Hollywood. The suspect followed the other vehicle as it traveled onto the northbound Hollywood Freeway, police said.
During the chase, shots were fired, killing Roeung.
While trying to get away, the other driver took the Lankershim Boulevard exit and drove north to Hesby Street. Shortly after, an ambulance arrived and took the victims to a hospital, police said.
The victims' conditions were not disclosed.
