Murrieta Woman, 19, Killed In SeaDoo Crash

MURRIETA The San Bernardino Sheriff's Department is investigating the cause of a crash that killed a 19-year-old woman on the Colorado River Saturday evening.

Desiree Hobill, of Murrieta, was killed when the SeaDoo she was riding crashed into a boat on the river, near Needles. 

The Daily News said the crash occured just after 5:20.

According to the San Bernardino County Coroner's office, Hobill was transported to the Colorado River Medical Center where she was declared dead at 7 p.m.
 
It was unclear if anyone on the boat was hurt.
