Police Search For Suspect In Santa Ana Shooting

SANTA ANA A 35-year-old man was fatally shot Sunday in Santa Ana and police are asking for the public's help in finding the gunman.

Alex Camacho, a Santa Ana resident, was found with a gunshot wound to his upper body in the 1700 block of West Flora Street about 12:30 a.m. by police responding to a report of shots fired, said Santa Ana police Sgt. Javier Esparza.
 
Camacho died at the scene, said Esparza.

The shooting was not gang-related, according to the sergeant.

Police asked anyone with information to call homicide detectives at (714) 245-8390.
