Pellicano's Ex Asks Judge For Her Phone Records

LOS ANGELES (AP) ― The former girlfriend of jailed Hollywood private investigator Anthony Pellicano has asked a federal judge for records that relate to her and were obtained through subpoenas.

According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, Sandra Wil Carradine says she has reason to fear for her personal safety. Her ex-boyfriend is in jail and awaiting trial in a wiretapping case.

In a sworn statement, Carradine says that while behind bars, Pellicano went over her telephone records that included personal information that had no relevance to his criminal case.

She is also alleging that Pellicano's 83-year-old mother has threatened her. She claims the older woman has shown Carradine's photo to a mob assassin planning to visit California.

Steven Gruel, Pellicano's attorney, said the accusations were "ludicrous and silly."

The unusual request to obtain the records will be heard by US District Judge Dale S. Fischer later in December.
