Domestic Violence Suspect Arrested After Standoff

LOS ANGELES An LAPD SWAT team arrested a domestic violence suspect who barricaded himself for several hours Wednesday inside a home in Woodland Hills.

Officers were sent to Hartland Street and Platt Avenue late Wednesday morning, Los Angeles police Lt. Rick Banks of the Media Relations office said.

The man was arrested shortly before 2 p.m., and no injuries were reported.

His name was not immediately released.
