Students Get A Hold Of SAT Before Exam Is Given
LOS ANGELES (AP) ―
Some students who took a college entrance exam at Granada Hills Charter High School got access to the test a day before it was given.
School executive director Brian Bauer says two students reviewed the Scholastic Aptitude Test on Oct. 3 and others removed copies of the exam before testing took place.
A total five students were involved.
The test was under the supervision of a school employee who had been hired by the Educational Testing Service as the "test supervisor." Bauer says that person was responsible for ensuring the security of the test.
About 150 to 200 students took the exam Oct. 4, the day after the students got hold of the test, Bauer said. The following Monday, the school administration received an anonymous e-mail from a student complaining about the breach.
