Armed Robbers Target Westwood 3 Times In 1 Night

LOS ANGELES Authorities Tuesday were searching for two men who committed an armed robbery and two attempted robberies near the UCLA campus Monday night, UCLA police said.

At 5:55 p.m., an attempted robbery occurred on Levering Avenue near Glenrock Avenue. About 20 minutes later, a robbery occurred on Strathmore Drive west of Landfair Avenue, according to the campus police department.

And about 6:35 p.m., an attempted robbery occurred on Glenrock Avenue north of Levering Avenue.

The suspects were described as being between 18 and 24. One man had a black pistol tucked into his waistband.

No injuries were reported. Anyone knowing more about the case was urged to call police.
