A Riverside doctor accused of sexually assaulting a patient can only examine women if a chaperone is present.
The Riverside Press-Enterprise reported Tuesday that Dr. Peter Conrad Paul was ordered by a judge to stop seeing female patients unless a female observer is on hand.
The 61-year-old family physician is accused of improperly touching a woman during a 2007 office visit. He was charged in June.
Paul remains free on $50,000 bond.
