Scuffle Breaks Out At Immigration Rally

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) ― A scuffle broke out and punches were exchanged between about 20 Neo-Nazis rallying against illegal immigration and about two dozen counter-protestors in Riverside.

Police in riot gear quickly broke up the brawl Saturday near a Home Depot store where day laborers often gather. One man was arrested, and there were no reports of any injuries.

About 600 counter-protestors were demonstrating across the street, holding signs reading "Inland area reject Nazi hate" and "Nazis go home" and trading insults with the Neo-Nazis.

Police say at one point a smaller group who called themselves the Brown Berets ran across the street and began throwing punches.
