Man Arrested For Allegedly Having Sex With Boy, 14

VENTURA, Calif. (AP) ― A Reseda man was in custody Tuesday for allegedly having sex repeatedly with a 14-year-old Thousand Oaks boy.

David Crown was arrested at his suburban Reseda home Monday and booked at the Ventura County Jail for investigation of sex with a minor.

Crown, 30, is being held on $500,000 bail.

Sgt. Don Aguilar says Crown has known the teenager for about a year and has taken the boy to his San Fernando Valley home "for the purpose of engaging in sexual acts."

Investigators say they posed as the 14-year-old on the teen's e-mail account and Crown allegedly "participated in conversations of a sexual nature related to crimes he committed against the victim."
