Grapevine Reopens After Overnight Snow Storm

CASTAIC, Calif. The Grapevine was reopened Monday morning after being closed overnight due to snow, authorities said. 

Northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 5 reopened about 7:30 a.m. with California Highway Patrol officers escorting motorists as a precaution.

The roadway was closed in both directions Sunday night at 11:30 p.m.
