Rafer Johnson To Be Honored For Service

He's an Olympian who has never forgotten his roots! Forty years ago, Rafer Johnson began a journey to give disabled kids the chance to feel what he experienced during his Olympic games.
The UCLA superstar is one of the forces behind the Special Olympics of Southern California. His mission is to lay the groundwork for the next generation of superstars.
This Saturday there is a special event to honor Rafer Johnson's 40-years with the Special Olympics. Its called the Rafer Johnson Breakfast with Champions and it will be held this Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Cal State Long Beach as part of the Special Olympics.
