Power Outage Hits LAX, Nearby Businesses
LOS ANGELES (CBS) ―
A power outage hit parts of Los Angeles International Airport and nearby businesses Saturday night, A Department of Water and Power spokeswoman said.
The outage happened about 8 p.m., DWP spokeswoman Terry Schneider said. The cause of the outage is not known, but crews were attempting to restore power.
Lights were out on the tarmac at LAX and nearby hotels were also affected, according to news reports, but airport operations were not affected.
