20-Something Woman Found Shot To Death In Pomona

POMONA (CBS) ―

Police responding to a shots fired call in Pomona Monday discovered the body of a 20-something woman.

The Coroner's office described the woman as a Latina.

The body was found about 7:20 a.m. near Glenpark Street and Bellevue Avenue, according to Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter.

Rick Baker said police were responding to a shots fired call in the 1800 block of Glenpark Street.

Anyone with information about the slaying is asked to call detectives Turpin or Lange at (909) 620-2085.
