Woman, 46, Held On Suspicion Of Murdering Husband
POMONA
Adrienne Davidson of Pomona rang in the new year with her husband as planned but then police say a bullet rang out.
Police say that the 46-year-old woman allegedly shot her husband, killing him, before turning herself in to the Walnut Sheriff's station.
Adrienne Davidson was being held Monday in lieu of $2 million bail.
She is expected to be arraigned at the end of this month in Pomona Superior Court, according to officials.
Davidson went to the sheriff's station just after 3:30 a.m. on New Year's Day and told deputies she shot her 46-year-old husband, Ezra Davidson Jr., at their house on Trabuco Place in the Phillips Ranch area, according to Pomona police.
Officers who responded to the house found the man with a gunshot wound
to his upper body.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Police described the killing as "related to an ongoing family issue."
