Cops Investigate Near-Decapitation Murder Of Woman

LOS ANGELES (AP) ― Police are investigating the death of a woman whose partially decapitated body was found in a South Los Angeles alley.

A business owner found Jaquelyn Fields Friday morning in an alley near railroad tracks.

Investigators describe the 46-year-old woman as a "street person."

They say she suffered multiple stab wounds and blunt force trauma.

No arrests have been made.
