Man Exposes Himself To 3 Girls In Pico Rivera
PICO RIVERA, Calif.
Deputies are looking for a man who exposed himself to three girls that were walking on a street in Pico Rivera, including one whom he tried to grab, authorities said.
On Monday around 2 p.m., two 12-year-olds and one 11-year-old -- all from Pico Rivera -- were walking north on Rosemead Boulevard when a man jumped out from behind a parked vehicle and stood in their path near Burke Street, said Lt. Maria Gutierrez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department's Pico Rivera Station.
The suspect was described as a Latino in his late 40s, 5 feet 1, heavy-set, with dark complexion, dark hair, and a thick mustache.
He was wearing a Hawaiian shirt and black jeans and may be driving a white older model station wagon, Gutierrez said.
The suspect "had his pants unzipped, and his penis exposed," Gutierrez said. He added that the girls immediately turned around and ran away from the suspect.
As the girls ran away, the suspect reached out and attempted to grab one of the victims by the shirt, but she escaped from his grasp, she said.
The girls were not injured during the incident, Gutierrez said.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call sheriff's detectives at the Pico Rivera Station at (562) 949-2421.
