Photographer Accused Of Sex With Girl, 15

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) ― Orange County prosecutors have charged a magazine photographer with having sex with a 15-year-old girl after agreeing to help her modeling career.

The district attorney's office says 33-year-old Jason Ellis of Newport Beach was charged Tuesday with six counts of sexual acts with a minor, including statutory rape.

His fiance, 31-year-old Michelle Hecker, faces the same felony charges for allegedly arranging meetings between Ellis and the girl. Prosecutors say Hecker picked the girl up from her parents' home under the pretense of going horseback riding.

Hecker and Ellis each face up to seven years in prison if convicted.
