According to celebrity website TMZ, a photographer's car crashed into Paris Hilton's chauffeured vehicle as the paparazzo leaped out to take pictures of the socialite.
The low-speed crash took place on Robertson Boulevard near Beverly Center and was not reported to police. No one was injured in the accident, TMZ reported.
The accidently apparently took place as Hilton was exiting her car to enter a shop. The photographer, TMZ said, mistakenly placed his car's transmission in reverse as he jumped out to start shooting.
The driverless car backed up into the front headlight and left side panels of Hilton's Cadillac. Hilton had already left the car on the right side and was not injured.
This latest incident is one of several in which freelance photographers, eager to score a valuable shot of a celebrity, have reportedly crashed or driven dangerously.
