Body Of 13-Year-Old Girl Discovered In Palmdale

PALMDALE Authorities Tuesday were investigating the death of a 13-year-old girl whose body was discovered in a remote area of Palmdale.

The body was discovered about 6:45 a.m. near Avenue P and 50th Street East, Deputy Byron Ward of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau said. 

An autopsy was pending to determine the cause of death.

Anyone with information about the case was urged to call the sheriff's department.
