Palm Springs Woman Dies In Menifee Crash

MENIFEE, Calif. (CBS) ― A 76-year-old Palm Springs woman died Sunday when her SUV crashed into a tree in Menifee, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Coroner officials.

Judith Septimus, 76, was driving on the 215 Freeway at Scott Road about 8:30 a.m. her SUV went off an off-ramp and hit a tree, officials said.

She died of her injuries at Menifee Valley Medical Center.

Riverside County Sheriff's Department officials believe the crash may have been connected to the crash of a Chevy Cavalier that flipped over at the same area and caught fire around the same time.
