Man Killed, Woman Injured In Pacoima Shooting

PACOIMA, Calif. (CBS) ― A shooting in Pacoima Sunday claimed a man's life and left a woman wounded.

Officers responded to a call of shots fired at 1:40 a.m. on San Fernando Road and Filmore Street.

When they arrived, police found two victims. A man, whose name was withheld pending family notification, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

A woman was transported to a local hospital, where she was listed in stable condition, Los Angeles police spokeswoman Officer Norma Eisenman said.

Detectives have not yet determined a motive for the shootings.
