Would-Be Robber Shoots At Man In Pacoima

LOS ANGELES Police say a man was grazed by a bullet from a would-be robber in Pacoima Friday night.

The shooting happened near San Fernando Road and Kelowna Street at about 10:15 p.m. The man is expected to be fine, Los Angeles police Sgt. Mike Smith said.

The gunman "got scared, fired one round and grazed the victim" in the head, Smith said. The suspect may have gotten away in a gray Honda or Acura.

The man was taken to a hospital. His name and condition was not immediately available and apparently nothing was taken.
