Pedestrian, 22, Killed By Motorcycle In Norco

NORCO Authorities say that a 22-year-old Corona man was killed early Monday by a motorcycle in Norco.

The accident reportedly occured around 3 a.m. on River Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Nicholas Angel Rodriguez was walking north on River Road when he was struck by an oncoming Yamaha FJR motorcycle, said CHP Officer Sylvia Mosley.

Mosley said the motorcyclist, 45-year-old Samuel Houston of Corona,
suffered minor injuries in the collision.

Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene about a half hour after the crash, according to the Riverside County Coroner's Office.

Houston was transported to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment,
said Mosley.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
