Paris Hilton's sister Nicky was allegedly pushed to the ground outside a West Hollywood restaurant and made a citizen's arrest of the suspect, who was cited for misdemeanor battery and released, a sheriff's department spokesman said today.
Nicky Hilton was not injured during the incident that occurred about 4:50 a.m. Saturday near an IHOP restaurant, said Steve Whitmore of the sheriff's department.
A sheriff's deputy inside the restaurant heard a commotion and went outside to investigate, Whitmore said.
"Apparently, Nicky Hilton -- sister of Paris Hilton -- had been pushed from behind," Whitmore said.
He said Hilton told the deputy she wanted to make a citizen's arrest of the man for the shove, which was first reported by TMZ.com.
Michael Broadhurst, 50, of Los Angeles, was cited for misdemeanor battery and was released, Whitmore said.
