Downey Man, 33, Murdered In His Driveway

A 33-year-old Downey man was shot in the head and killed as he stood in his driveway Friday night.

Police say Christopher Lee Hamilton was found fatally shot in the 13400 block of Verdura Avenue.

The shooting occurred about midnight, Downey police Sgt. Jeff Calhoun said.

Witnesses said they heard several gunshots and saw Hamilton lying in the driveway.

No suspects or vehicles were seen.
