Azusa Man Shot To Death
AZUSA, Calif.
A man was shot to death in Azusa early Saturday morning, according to authorities.
The shooting occured just before 2 a.m.
Police found Jose Medina, 33, in the street next to his truck, an Azusa police sergeant told an on-the-scene news crew.
Two adults were walking eastbound on Gladstone Street when a suspect emerged from a parked car and demanded money.
One of the victims ran, and heard a gunshot. The second victim was apparently hit by the gunfire on the spot.
Los Angeles County paramedics tried CPR on the victim, but he died at the scene, police said.
The man was shot at 500 West Gladstone, near Orange Ave.
