Motorcyclists Killed In Agoura Hills, Perris

Pedestrian Killed In Athens Village By Hit-And-Run Driver

LOS ANGELES Officials say a motorcycle rider was killed on the road between the Conejo Valley and Malibu and another biker was killed in Perris.

The fatally-injured rider in the first incident ran into a pole on Kanan Road near Tunnel Three, north of Mulholland Highway, about 5:30 p.m. Saturday according to the CHP.

CHP Officer David Porter said the body was turned over to the coroner's office.

The man's name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Yet another motorcyclist was killed in Perris, according to authorities.

In that incident, the 22-year-old rider -- whose name was not released -- was killed when his vehicle struck a sedan and a truck on the Escondido (215) Freeway.

The victim was traveling southbound just south of Ethanac Road, according to the coroner's office. The crash was reported at 10:46 p.m. The man was declared dead at the scene about 2 minutes later.

The CHP is investigating the cause of that crash.

Meanwhile, a pedestrian was killed by a vehicle in Athen Village.

The unidentifed pedestrian -- a female -- was hit at 131st and Broadway at 1:20 Saturday morning, CHP's Porter said.

Witnesses said the woman was lying in the street.

The motorist attempted to swerve but still hit the woman accidentally driving over her with her 2008 Toyota Corolla.

The motorist left the scene with the car still atop the victim, according to witnesses.

A crowd gathered and lifted the car off the deceased who was declared dead at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, according to the CHP.
