8 Arrested During DEA Operation At Motel In Orange

ORANGE, Calif. Police have arrested eight people in connection with an undercover drug raid in Orange County.

SWAT officers from the city of Orange and agents with the federal Drug Enforcement Administration fired tear gas into a motel room Thursday. Three men who ran out were quickly captured by police. Five others were caught in a vehicle.

Authorities recovered an assault rifle in a trash can in the parking lot. The motel was evacuated as officers went room-to-room.
