Man Hit By Metrolink Train, Suffers Minor Injuries

NEWHALL A man was hit by a Metrolink train Saturday in the Newhall Tunnel, but suffered only minor injuries, a city fire official said.

The man was struck just before 3:30 p.m. near The Old Road, about a quarter mile into the tunnel, Cecil Manresa of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

He was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
