Metro Blue Line Train Strikes Man In Downtown L.A.

A young man was in critical condition Monday after being struck by a Metro Blue Line train south of downtown Los Angeles, authorities said.
Paramedics arriving at the scene, at Grand Avenue and Washington Boulevard, found the man next to the train, which had stopped, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The man was hospitalized with head, arm and pelvis injuries, Humphrey said.
