Power has been restored Saturday to Metro Blue Line stations affected by the winter storm moving through the Southland, according Metro officials. Power went out around 10:08 p.m. Friday night at three stations along the Metro Blue Line. There was no power at the Vernon, Slauson and Florence stations, spokesman Dave Sotero said.
Power was restored at about 1:20 a.m., Sotero said. During the power outage, buses were used for a "bus bridge" to transport passengers around the affected stations.
Metro operates 62 light-rail and subway stations along 73.1 miles of railway that include the Red, Blue, Green, Purple and Gold lines.
