Police Hunt Mercedes Driver In Fatal Hit-And-Run
LOS ANGELES (CBS) ―
Los Angeles police asked for the public's help Wednesday to help find the Mercedes-Benz driver who fatally struck a pedestrian Monday morning.
The victim died at a hospital, according to authorities.
The crash occured about 6:20 a.m. in the number one lane of wesbound Eighth Street, near Berendo.
The driver reportedly got out of the vehicle and then jumped back in before fleeing.
Police offered no other information -- about the suspect or the suspect's vehicle.
The victim has not been identified.
